  6. QSpawn is a small front-end to Quake under Windows 95/NT. It is written in 
  7. Visual Basic 4 and has some interesting features:
  8.  
  9. - able to launch quake.exe/winquake.exe/glquake.exe/q95.bat
  10. - lists valid modification directories under Quake
  11. - lists all available maps in the Quake path and in PAK files
  12. - supports Quake memory options
  13. - optional player info - name, shirt/pant colors
  14. - multiplayer configuration for server type, deathmatch, and Frag/Time limits
  15. - Exec scripts and configs
  16. - other settings
  17. - note field
  18. - status bar to tell you what's going on
  19. - save up to 10 named Settings
  20.  
  21. This is the first Beta of the program, and there is still a few things left
